This was a fun identity. One look at the name with that many 'V' and 'A' characters was a great place to start. Asia is full of strong symbolism around flowers and floral identities. This was a great place to explore an identity that is loud and professional.
Initially forming the shapes of flowers. This would later morph into the current logo, however the centralized graphic direction towards the center was too masculine and dominant.
Ultimately, the off-beat shapes make a more interesting logotype in my opinion. This also made me dwell upon the idea that multiple countries and cultures are all unique, therefore one shape, culture of industry should not represent the whole, but rather the collective should come together
Asian Canadian Ventures Collective launched in 2021 and has since gathers 700+ members spread across the Asian Pacific and North America. ACVC continues to bridge members and business ventures across the globe.
